How are Board members appointed?

Members of the Building Appeals Board (Board) are appointed for a period of up to three years by the Governor-in-Council, on the Minister for Planning's recommendation.

Members are drawn from the professions of building surveyors, architects, engineers, town planners, builders and lawyers experienced in the building and construction industry, as well as consumer advocates.
