Information about site inspections

Inspections of sites are carried out at the discretion of the BAB.

Submission of further information (including discussion of the case) must not occur during the inspection, unless requested by the BAB.

Notice of an upcoming inspection will not be given unless access is required to the property, in which case the BAB will advise all parties during the hearing.

Upcoming hearings

The listings published below are the listings in the week ahead.

With exception to some modification applications, listings in the week ahead are available from Friday by 4:15 PM in the week prior and are updated every weekday in the subsequent week by 4:15 PM.

Modification applications that are considered without the need for the parties to attend a hearing are usually considered on Thursday mornings. These listings will be made available by 4:15 PM on the day prior.

*Subject to a party requesting a hearing, a matter may be dealt with on the papers if the BAB considers it appropriate to make a determination in the proceeding based on written submissions filed and evidence tendered by the parties, without the need for any party to appear before the BAB.

All hearings conducted by the BAB are open to the public unless ordered otherwise. If you wish to observe a hearing, please put your request in writing and include the case number and property address and email it to the registry email. To ensure the BAB can accommodate your request, please make your written request not less than 48 hours prior to the listed hearing.
